Why do we need another website about Apple products?
In my experience, I have found that each site about Apple and its products that I visit is unique with respect to content and writing styles – there is not one website that has everything I am looking for. As a business owner, I like to keep abreast of new products that are on the horizon that could benefit my practice.
Since Apple’s formal press releases rarely discuss future products or upgrades, I obtain a great deal of information from the Apple blogsphere. Keeping up-to-date on the different technology sectors in which Apple competes affords one a greater understanding of the computer, wireless and digital media fields and, thereby, increases awareness of future technology trends and allows one to take advantage of such trends before one’s competition.
This site will attempt to lend support, answer questions or point you in the right direction if you are thinking of purchasing new or maximizing use of your current Apple products for personal or professional use.
What got you hooked on Apple products?
Apple’s products do not just offer practical utility but a seamless, easy to use, pleasurable computing experience. My Mac, iPhone and Apple TV integrate my digital needs flawlessly and they facilitate and enhance my productivity and creativity. They have served me well from both the private consumer and professional perspectives.
Why did you decide on using Macs in your practice?
I wanted a powerful and flexible computer system to help achieve the goals of my business practice. It had to be reliable, stable and require minimal IT support. Setting up the network, tackling tech issues and being incredibly flexible in allowing me to run any operating system on the Mac gives Apple a huge advantage in business.
How long have you been using the Mac, iPhone, iPod and Apple TV?
- I bought my first iPod in January 2005, an iPod Mini. The overall experience was terrific because of the seamless integration with iTunes. It helped me pass my professional board exams by helping me relax and entertaining me while I was studying.
- I have been using a Mac since March 2006, when Apple switched to Intel chips. I converted my office to Apple Macs July 2007.
- I bought an Apple TV in March 2007 and use it mostly to watch photo slideshows and home videos of recent trips and our kids.
- I purchased the original iPhone on July 5, 2007 and upgraded to the iPhone 3G on July 12, 2008.
